Dare-to-Wear: Chiara Ferragni in Christin Dior

Every once in a while you stumble upon a trend that really has your inner fashionista jumping with joy. This week it happened to be Chiara Ferragni who turned up looking unbelievable at the Christian Dior couture 2016 show.  The Snapchat queen wore head-to-toe Dior and as far as I’m concerned never looked better.

This grey open front, open back top is the right type of sexy sophistication that every girl craves. Who would think that a design this “scandalous” would look so demure and lady like. There is obviously a taste line at play here, and Ferragni in this Dior ensemble nailed it.

Not everyone can pull this off, but it got me thinking, just how many women, no matter the body type would wear an outfit like this? Personally I would love to, give me a constructed top with peek-a-boo cut outs and a tailored pant any day. High street stores everywhere are already doing their version of this blouse, but how successful they are, is yet to be seen.

High Heel Celebrities: The Plunging Neckline – Charlize Theron and Deepika Padukone

Charlize Theron and Deepika Padukone are going head to head in my battle of the plunging neckline. A huge trend for 2016, popping up on the runways, bridal gowns and the red carpet. Got to say with their stunning bodies, these two fashion icons are working it!

Styling wise, both ladies did the updo and long chain, which works with the mermaid silhouette. However, I’m giving my vote to Theron because she rocked this outfit way back in February. Also compared to Padukone, Charlize’s softer look was more striking and effortless on the red carpet. Got a favourite?

Decoding the Runway: Christian Dior

We saw a real heavy bold chain at Giambattista Valli, but if you’re not into statement heels then why not opt for a pair of these Christian Dior instead? Subtle but definitely hard edged. The slim chain detailing as piping on these 5.5 inchers are gorgeous. I can see them with almost any outfit for any night event. Staple colours black white and even an on trend snake print in these heels will keep you stylish through out spring/summer 2012.
