Finally the end to a long week, while I miss not being at the shows, it was nice to be able to cover it from a pictures only perspective. It’s refreshing to not have the chatter about a collection being amazing just because someone is popular or friends with the designer.

Stepford wife meets the Adams family is what sprung to mind when I saw these two looks. The collection did have a whole lot of dizzying prints and general chaos that’s very Arora, but i like the restraint displayed in these two.

There was a whole lot of black and white on offer at this show, but this look in particular was my personal favourite. It screams out layered madness in a way that only we fashion folks love. Why wear anything separately, clothes are so much more interesting when all thrown on together.

Shoe bites: Lady Gaga in Paco Rabbane (Manish Arora)

Let’s just say, Lady Gaga can’t get enough of India huh? I knew she would wear this collection at some point, but little did I know, she’d wear 5 looks from the same collection, by the same designer, all on one night at the MTV Europe Music Awards, Phew! Obsessed much? Manish Arora must be thrilled that his debut collection for Paco Rabbane was so well received by the biggest name in music/fashion right now. Although I admire Manish’s vision, I’d have actually liked to see these designs on someone like Niki Minaj or even Katy Perry for that matter. What do you feel?

Screw Hollywood, I’m guessing the a film deal is in the works for Lady Gaga judging from how pally she looks with Arjun Rampal and Shahrukh Khan. Pictures do speak a thousand words, and the one above comes with a tweet, what could be better?
